Only occasionally do I take photographs of people or at events. At the request of a friend of mine, I documented the concert and show “Around the World in Eighty Days” that he conducted. It was played by the Musikkapelle Wewer with the show elements presented by the Fahnenschwenker Wewer. Part of the show was acrobatics with torches. Having no experience in capturing scenes like this, I tried my best to deliver at least a couple of usable photos.

This photograph was made with a Canon EOS 6D and an EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens at 24mm. The exposure was 1 second at f/11 and ISO 400. The photograph was cropped and edited in Adobe Lightroom.
